Pop Legend Cyndi Lauper started trending on Twitter tonight after performing on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC. The “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” singer started her set with a duet of “True Colors” with Billy Porter.

After her first song, someone approached Cyndi. “Let’s take off you scarf,” they said, but Cyndi did not want her scarf removed. “I’m on camera. I’m on camera,” she said, and the person quickly ran off stage. Her EDM performance of “Hope” had many confused.
